***Letter from the IPR 2021 Presidents***
Dear colleagues,
The Boards of the ESPR and the SPR have closely monitored and assessed the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and potential vaccine development on the 2021 IPR meeting in Rome. At this stage it seems likely that if the IPR meeting were held in June, the attendance would be limited and the meeting would be predominantly online. The organizing committees along with the ESPR and SPR boards feel strongly that the IPR should be an in-person meeting if at all possible. With these uncertainties in mind, the two boards decided to postpone the IPR until October 11-15th 2021. The meeting will still be held at the Rome Marriott Park Hotel.
Although there is great hope for an in-person meeting in October, preparations will also be made for a hybrid and/or online meeting if the pandemic still prevents the meeting.
We are currently updating the program and the IPR 2021 website. The deadline for abstract submissions will be extended until March 22nd 2021. If you have already submitted your work, thank you. Please know that you may access your submission to incorporate amendments if needed, but be sure to finalize the submission by March 22nd.
